Es kann auch geschehen, daß zwey oder mehr
Glieder den Buchstaben x enthalten, und entweder
in einen Satz oder in beyden vorkommen. Sind sie auf
einer Seite als x + 1/2 x + 5 = 11, so wird x +
1/2 x
= 6 und 3x = 12 und x = 4.

Es sey x + 1/2 x + 1/3 x = 44, was ist x? man multi-
plicire mit 3 so wird 4x + x = 132, ferner mit 2 mul-
tiplicirt wird 11x = 264 und x = 24; diese drey Glieder
können aber so gleich in eins gezogen werden, als
x = 44, man theile beyderseits durch 11 so hat man
1/6 x = 4 und x = 24.

zogen giebt x = 1 und x = 2 2/5 .

Es sey ax - bx + cx = d, so ist dieses eben so viel
als (a - b + c) x = d, hieraus kommt x = .
