V. Man setze m = o, also sin phm = 1, so hat
man aus (III. Sun).
[Formel 1] Und wenn man in (III. ) n = o setzt
[Formel 2] Setzt man in die erste dieser Formeln nunmehr
n -- 2 statt n, und in die zweyte m -- 2 statt
m, so wird auf eine ähnliche Art das Integral
integral d ph cos phn--2 auf integral d ph cos phn--4 und integral d ph sin phm--2
auf integral d ph sin phm--4 gebracht; so denn diese ferner
auf zwey andere, worin die Exponenten von cos ph
und sin ph wieder um zwey Grade niedriger sind
u. s. w. So kömmt man denn endlich auf
integral d ph sin pho = integral d ph = ph + Const. oder wenn
m ungerade ist auf integral d ph sin ph = -- cos ph + C.
Und eben so auf integral d ph cos pho = ph + Const.
oder auf integral d ph cos ph = sin ph + Const.

Wenn man die Rechnung, deren Gang hier
nur angedeutet ist, vollständig durchführt, so wird
man folgende Formeln erhalten
