Zweyter Theil. Erstes Kapitel.
Auflösung.

1. Man setze der Kürze halber
a + b x + g x2 = z
und differenziire den Ausdruck u = xm zp + 1 so
hat man
d u = m xm -- 1 zp + 1 d x + (p + 1) xm zp d z

2. Oder wegen d z = (b + 2 g x) d x
d u = m xm -- 1 zp + 1 d x + (p + 1)
b xm zp d x
+ 2 (p + 1) g xm + 1 zp d x

3. In das erste Glied dieser Gleichung rech-
ter Hand des Gleichheitzeichens setze man statt
zp + 1 den gleichgültigen Ausdruck zp . z oder
zp (a + b x + g x2), so wird man nach einer
leichten Rechnung erhalten
d u = m a xm -- 1 zp d x + (m + p + 1) b xm zp d x
+ (m + 2 p + 2) g xm + 1 zp d x

4. Nun ist ferner
xm -- 1 zp + 1 = xm -- 1 zp (a + b x + g x2)
= a xm -- 1 zp + b xm zp + g xm + 1 zp
demnach g xm + 1 zp = xm -- 1 zp + 1 -- a xm -- 1 zp --
b xm zp.

5. Dieser Werth statt g xm + 1 zp in das
letzte Glied der Gleichung (3.) substituirt, giebt

Aufloͤſung.

1. Man ſetze der Kuͤrze halber
α + β x + γ x2 = z
und differenziire den Ausdruck u = xm zp + 1 ſo
hat man
d u = m xm — 1 zp + 1 d x + (p + 1) xm zp d z

2. Oder wegen d z = (β + 2 γ x) d x
d u = m xm — 1 zp + 1 d x + (p + 1)
β xm zp d x
+ 2 (p + 1) γ xm + 1 zp d x

3. In das erſte Glied dieſer Gleichung rech-
ter Hand des Gleichheitzeichens ſetze man ſtatt
zp + 1 den gleichguͤltigen Ausdruck zp . z oder
zp (α + β x + γ x2), ſo wird man nach einer
leichten Rechnung erhalten
d u = m α xm — 1 zp d x + (m + p + 1) β xm zp d x
+ (m + 2 p + 2) γ xm + 1 zp d x

4. Nun iſt ferner
xm — 1 zp + 1 = xm — 1 zp (α + β x + γ x2)
= α xm — 1 zp + β xm zp + γ xm + 1 zp
demnach γ xm + 1 zp = xm — 1 zp + 1α xm — 1 zp
β xm zp.

5. Dieſer Werth ſtatt γ xm + 1 zp in das
letzte Glied der Gleichung (3.) ſubſtituirt, giebt
