Anfangs-Gründe
rithmi = ady : y/ so könnet ihr jetzt auch die
jenigen Grössen differentiiren/ in welchen
Logarithmi zu finden. Es sey Z. E. lyn/ so
ist die Differential nlyn-1 ady : y.

Der 2. Zusatz.

525. Es sey die Differential eines Loga-
rithmi = dy : (1+y);
so ist der Logarithmus
der Zahl 1+y = sdy : (1+y). Nun ist 1:(1+y)
= 1-y+y2 - y3 + y4
u. s. w. wie ihr es findet/
wenn ihr in der That dividiret/ und daher d.
y:(1+y) = dy-ydy+y2dy - y3dy+y4dy &c.

Derowegen ist sdy : (1+y) oder der Logari-
thmus
von der Zahl 1+y = y-1/2y2 + 1/3 y3 - 1/4y4
+ 1/5 y5 &c.

Der 3. Zusatz.

526. Weil nun l=y-1/2y2+ 1/3 y3-1/4y4 + 1/5
y5 &c.
so findet ihr (§. 489); [Formel 1]
[Formel 2] &c. wo l den
Logarithmum von 1 bedeutet und also = 0.

Der 4. Zusatz.

527. Jhr sehet zugleich (§. 524)/ wie die
Differentiale der Logarithmischen Grössen
integriret werden/ wenn man a für die Sub-
tangentem
der Logarithmischen Linie an-
nimmet. Es ist Z. E. slyndy : y = lyn+1:
(n+1)a/slydy V (aa+ly2) = (aa+ly2)3:2 : 3a

u. s. w.
