Hier bleibt die Ausdehnung von B unbestimmt. Da
aber wenigstens einige B unter M sind, so können diese
nicht unter C seyn. Folglich ist der Schluß durch
alle vier Figuren particular verneinend. Nämlich:

I. Kein M ist CII. Kein C ist M
Etliche B sind MEtliche B sind M
Etliche B sind nicht CEtliche B sind nicht C.
III. Kein M ist CIV. Kein C ist M
Etliche M sind BEtliche M sind B
Etliche B sind nicht CEtliche B sind nicht C.

IA wird so gezeichnet:

Hier kann B kein Subject seyn, weil M länger als B
punktirt werden müßte, und C unter diese Punkte
kommen könnte. Folglich gelten nur die zwo letzten
Figuren, und die Schlüsse sind
