Demnach
D y = sin ph (cos Dph -- 1) + sin Dph. cos ph
Nun nähert sich aber cos D ph ohne Ende immer
mehr und mehr dem Sinus totus 1, je kleiner man
D ph nimmt; und sin D ph nähert sich ohne Ende
dem Bogen D ph selbst; wird also D ph unendlich
klein = d ph also auch D y = dy, so nähert sich
cos D ph -- 1, und folglich auch das Product sin ph
(cos d ph -- 1) ohne Ende der Null, und das
Product sin d ph. cos ph ohne Ende dem Werthe
d ph cos ph; demnach hat man
d y = dphcosph d. h.
d sin ph = d ph. cos ph;

die Gränze des Verhältnisses d y : d ph ist also =
cos ph : 1, oder der Quotient [Formel 1]
nähert sich ohne Ende dem Werthe cos ph, wel-
ches denn durch die Gleichung [Formel 2] = cos ph,
oder d y = d ph . cos ph ausgedrückt wird.

ſin (φ + Δ φ) = ſin φ. coſ Δ φ + ſin Δ φ . coſ φ
